What the app is

A live map and news dashboard. It joins news, public data feeds and emergency alerts into map events, as safety information for travellers, traders and others.

What we keep about you

• If you create an account: your email address and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password. Nothing else about you.
• A random device number, so your free trial and plan work. It is not linked to your name.
• Your settings (which windows and layers you use) are kept on your phone or Mac.
• The last data you saw is kept on your phone or Mac so the app works offline.

What we do not do

No ads. No selling or sharing your data. No tracking across other apps or websites. No location is read from your device.

Payments

Pro is bought through Apple. Apple takes the payment and we never see your card. Our payment helper, RevenueCat, is told only that your account has Pro, and whether it is active.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings, then Account, then Delete account. This removes your email and password for good. One anonymous line is kept: the date your free trial started, with no email or name, so a trial cannot be restarted by deleting and creating an account again. Your Pro purchase stays with your Apple ID; use Restore Purchases to get it back. If you cannot use the app, ask us through the contact form.

Servers

Our own server holds the above. Data is sent over encrypted connections.

Not aimed at children under 13.
